Our Mediator

Jesus Prays

To Know you Jesus as our Mediator in such an intimate exact knowing one on one for each of your sheep.

To be stedfast in your hearts prayer for each sheep abba in Jesus Name.

To be in agreement with the

prayers of Jesus toward his fathers children.

Because of His shed blood, the Lord Jesus has become our mediator with the Father. Hebrews 9:15 declares:

“And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance” (NKJV).

Mankind has always needed a mediator. Job declared, “Oh, that one might plead for a man with God” (Job 16:21).

Under the Old Covenant, the high priest became the legal representative of the people regarding spiritual matters. But there were some issues that he could not arbitrate. Eli, when he was high priest of Israel, said:

“If one man sins against another, God will judge him. But if a man sins against the Lord, who will intercede for him?” (1 Samuel 2:25).

Today, Christ has become our high priest through shedding His blood. That is what gives Him the authority to be our legal mediator in heaven, representing us before the Father. Because of the cross, “He is our Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant” (Hebrews 9:15).

As our mediator, Christ intercedes on our behalf. The apostle Paul wrote, “It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us” (Romans 8:34). The Greek word for intercession is entugchano, which means “to meet with” and “to make petition.”

((( oh JEsus to hear your prayes of intercession to know you as our mediator to hear your prayers as our mediator on the day to hear you say yes I know you you met with me often as I was praying you and I knew each other in a personal relationship and you learned how to exalt me as "THE MEDIATOR"  )))))

To say yes to Jesus to know him as our Mediator in an intimate relationship with Jesus in every way he is Jesus he is beautiful in every part of his divine Nature to know all we can know of Jesus and for him to know us in a very personal relationship with King Jesus.

And because He is our high priest, sin will not defeat us – no, not on a single score. He is our high priest, ever living to make intercession for us.

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7: 25).

There is only one reason why Christ can be our go-between in heaven: because He is both God and man.

“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:8).

“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same” (Hebrews 2:14).

Only Christ can say, “I know what man is like, and I can tell you what God is like. I understand them both from the inside out.” When we are being tempted, Jesus can speak to the Father and say, “I went through the same thing.”

He was sinless, and yet He became our sin bearer. Instead of symbolically cleansing us from defilement, the Lord cleansed us from actual sin. It was through the blood of the cross that the Lord Jesus removed the obstacle that had caused an estrangement between God and man and restored our fellowship with the Father.

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15).

Through Christ is “holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens” (Hebrews 7:26), He is nevertheless “touched with the feeling of our infirmities” (Hebrews 4:15).

As the writer of Hebrew says, “Let us therefore come boldly” today to His “throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy” (Hebrews 4:16). This wonderful Savior does not condemn you. He loves you for He has died for you.

“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all” (1 Timothy 2:5-6).

And because of this ransom, God declares that we are free from the pit of sin and death.

“If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, To show man his uprightness, Then He is gracious to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom’” (Job 33:23-24).

So come to Jesus Christ our mediator today. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6)

Now look carefull at this scripture

18   Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19   Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20   For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Oh to yield to the agreement prayers of Jesus as intercessors.

Jesus is the Husband of the bride.

Jesus is the Lord of Hosts.

Jesus is the husband that is at war.

So as the bride of Christ we will know battle.

So the key is to yield to the victory Jesus

has provided for us and lean on his good

fight of faith.

He sent us the Holy Ghost to lead us into all truth. The Holy Ghost is powerful.

To ask how to get into the alignment of perfect agreement prayers drawing near God and knowing he will draw near us.

Jesus You are our forerunner and high priest in agreement prayers as our Mediator where do we need to start this agreement process.

Christ Jesus, Our Mediator

1 Timothy 2:1-6

In verse 5 of this passage Paul says that there is only one mediator between God and men, and that is Christ Jesus. But what is a mediator and how does Christ fulfill this role?

I. What is a mediator?

A mediator is a person who stands between two parties in a dispute and helps them to resolve their differences. Examples of mediators would be: an umpire or referee in a competition, a federal negotiator in a labor dispute, a diplomat in an international dispute, or a messenger who carries communications between two parties who can not meet themselves. A mediator must posses certain qualities in order to perform his function properly. He must be fair and unbiased. He must understand and appreciate the positions of each party in the dispute. He must be able to communicate the meaning of each parties position to the other party. He must be trusted by both parties. Finally, he must be patient, humble, and willing to receive the abuse that the disputants would otherwise inflict on one another.

It is Jesus Christ who performs this task between God and men. Only he possesses the attributes necessary to stand between God and His children to resolve their differences.

II. Why do we need a mediator?

Because each responsible human being has at some point violated the will of his or her creator, there is a rift between us and God. This break in our relationship with God began with the first sin of Adam and Eve. When they sinned against God He drove them from His presence in paradise, Genesis 3:22-24, and each of us by our own sins maintain this separation, Isaiah 59:1-3, Romans 3:23. If we do not make peace with God in this life, we will be separated from Him forever, as Paul states in 2 Thessalonians 1:9. In order to resolve our differences with God we need a go-between who can sufficiently mediate our dispute, and it was for this purpose that God sent His own Son into the world.

III. How does Jesus perform the task of a mediator?

A. By bearing the penalty of the wrongs we have committed against God. Two parties can not get back together as long as there are unresolved injuries still on the table. Because God is just He must uphold justice by punishing wrong doers. As long as we stand guilty of sin, God can not welcome us into His presence. By dying on the cross Jesus bore our sins and thereby made reconciliation with God possible, 2 Corinthians 5:18-21. Our sins stand between us and God, but this barrier may be removed in Christ, Colossians 1:19-22.

Only Jesus could accomplish this task. Only a man could take the place for other men in bearing guilt, Hebrews 2:14, and only a man without sin or guilt of his own, Hebrews 7:26-28. Jesus was that sinless man. And only Jesus could take His offering of blood to heaven itself and place it before God, Hebrews 9:24-26.

B. By making it possible for God to sympathize with man. A true go-between must be able to fully appreciate the feelings of both parties in the dispute, and be able to fully communicate those feelings. It was the need for such sympathy that caused Job to cry out in all of his troubles, Job 10:4-5.

Only one who is equal with God, yet also having been a man, can adequately bridge that awesome gap between two parties so different from one another. And only Jesus meets this requirement. He has experienced our plight fully, yet He is also able to take that knowledge and represent it before God, Hebrews 4:14-16. In Christ we can see one who has known hunger, pain, sorrow, betrayal, temptation, and even death. Therefore we know that we can approach God with confidence, because sitting right next to God is His beloved Son who has been through all of life's troubles. He will speak for us.

C. By helping man to understand God. A mediator must insure that the communication flows both ways between the parties of a dispute. He must bring them to understand and appreciate the position of their prospective friend. Who can explain God to man? Who can fully understand God, yet also be able to speak to us in terms that we can appreciate?

Jesus fulfills this obligation. Part of the reason that God had to become a man was to allow us to see the person of the deity in a form that we can relate to, John 1:14, 18. He became the image of an invisible God, Colossians 1:15. By looking at the man Jesus we are able to see what God is like under conditions familiar to us: working, speaking, serving, and teaching in the streets of an earthly community. We know that God is love, but we come to understand the nature of that love in the actions of the man Jesus of Nazareth, 1 John 4:8-9.

D. By mediating a new covenant between us and God. For two parties to be reconciled there usually must be an agreement worked out by which the two parties can establish a working relationship. Moses served as the go-between when God made a covenant with Israel, Galatians 3:19. But he was only a forerunner for the more perfect mediator of a more perfect covenant, Hebrews 8:6. The covenant made through Moses could not adequately allow for the weaknesses of man, nor the righteousness of God. By making a new covenant through His own righteous blood, Jesus was able to forge an agreement that did allow for these factors, Hebrews 12:24.

E. By being our advocate and pleading our cause. Who can stand before God and plead the cause of man? Job knew very well the difficulty of our position, and he longed for someone greater than himself who might be able stand between him and God, Job 9:1-3, 12-16, 32-35. The problem is especially difficult because we know that we are the one in the wrong, 1 Samuel 2:25. Moses was able to intercede with God on behalf of Israel, Exodus 32:9-14, and other men were able to do the same on various occasions. But Each of these men were flawed themselves, and they too needed an intercessor. We need someone who can always represent us and who will never let us down. Jesus Christ is the only one who can fulfill this role. He is our advocate with the Father, 1 John 2:1. He pleads our cause for us and through Him we have access to God, Ephesians 2:18. He counteracts the work of Satan who accuses us before God, Revelation 12:10, and He always lives to make intercession on our behalf, Hebrews 7:25. This is why we always pray in His name, John 16:23-24.
